  43. All work and no play makes for a very slow day; so we have started a blog hosting short stories and poetry, where you can just read and enjoy – or submit your own works! This is how we relax after a busy day of canning, cleaning, mayonnaise-making and lacto-fermenting!!

Every Sunday features a new short story; every Monday a new writing prompt. And, on Fridays, it’s all about poetry!

Read and enjoy, or post a few of your own …. http://dotalanecdotes.blogspot.com/2012/09/blog-launch-in-short-stories.html

  48. #110 I’m sharing a sad news story about a Texas dairy being forced to sell all of its milk to BIG DAIRY (Dairy Farmers of America). In addition to selling milk to the DFA, Way Back When Dairy is a Texas licensed raw milk dairy. The dairy also produces and sells low-temp pasteurized, unhomogenized milk to many Houston restaurants and markets. Low-temp pasteurized is the best form of milk legal for sale in retail stores in Texas.
