Hello! Hope you had a joyous Christmas! I’m linking a post on herbal teas, Infusions and decoctions. We’re certainly getting a lot of use out of this type of herbal remedy this season.

This time I added a recipe for chestnut dressing that is entirely my creation. I hope you will try it and let me know how it goes. It’s gluten-free, grain-free, and GAPS legal, and has no weird bready substitutes included. Somehow, though, the texture I was missing came through.

There are snow and ice on the ground in so many places around the country right now, so I’ve posted about the dangers of using salt, baking soda and most chemical ice melters to plants, people, pets and planet. Instead there are safe alternatives, including a “recipe” for homemade window de-icer.
