13 Recipes

Examples of shellfish include lobster, crayfish (crawfish), shrimp, crab, prawns and krill. They are typically very expensive when you get wild caught and easy to prepare with a quick boil in most cases.

The best shellfish recipes are served with drawn butter for dipping. Think King Crab and lobster!

Of course, wild shrimp make for easy shellfish dishes and are the some of the easiest to serve. No nut cracker required!

The biggest mistake people make when preparing a home cooked seafood recipe is throwing away all the leftover shells! When combined in a pot and boiled for an hour or so, it makes a fabulous seafood broth that makes a wonderful base for soups.
