Harvard Medical Doctor Warns Against Smart Meters

by Sarah Pope / Affiliate Links ✔

smart meter dangersDr. David Carpenter MD, a graduate of Harvard Medical School and a physician who has worked in the area of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and public health for over 18 years, has a few choice words for power companies that are forcing smart meters down the throats of their customers all over the United States.

Dr. Carpenter adamantly insists that there is no evidence whatsoever that smart meters are in any way safe for human beings.  He goes on to say that there is, in fact, ample evidence that demonstrates “convincingly and consistently” that exposure to radiofrequency radiation (RFR) at elevated levels for long periods of time increases the risk of cancer, damages the nervous system, and adversely affects the reproductive organs.

Dr. Carpenter says that an informed person should demand that they be allowed to keep their analog meter.

The two minute video interview with Dr. Carpenter below is well worth watching.

If you are having smart meters forced upon you where you live, know that California power customers have recently won the battle to keep their analog meters.   There is both an annual and monthly charge for this “inconvenience” to the power utilities, but at least customers now have a choice to opt out where they did not before.

This precedent for opting out in California should make it easier for others with smart meters who don’t want them in other areas of the United States to be able to get their analog meters back as well.

While smart meters reduce workload and increase profitability for the power companies, they do so at the expense of the health of their customers.  Opting out is the only “smart” way to deal with this corporate incursion.

Smart Meter Dangers – Video

Here is what one prominent industry expert who is also a medical doctor has to say about smart meters. Don’t wait until you have a health problem likely caused or exacerbated by these devices. Be proactive to protect your family!

Note that this does not necessarily include the very similar looking AMR devices.

Can’t Get Rid of Your Smart Meter Right Now?

If you live in a rental property or cannot afford to pay the extortion fee charged by utility companies to remove your smart meter and reinstall an analog, I would recommend getting a device called a Smart Meter Guard (check it out here).

It has been proven to cut 98% of the radiation from a smart meter! Better yet, the power company won’t balk if you use it as long as you don’t break the security seal (don’t EVER do this!). My friend Beth from Minnesota emailed me about it recently as she was informed about this new device by a building biologist who works for the company Intentional Environment.

There are now two other less expensive competitive products, the Smart Meter Cover (available here) and the Smart Meter Shield (available here).

Having one of these smart meter safety devices installed at your home is a must.

The problem with “Short term Studies,” is they are SHORT! More of a problem are those who are doing them. Do I trust Corporations whose bottom line is “Profit over their customers?’ ARE YOU KIDDING? As far as those who do the studies can they really be trusted (like Polls) they are out to make a profit to. Bottom line, Many Companies in Corporate America are Corrupt and the Love of money is the bottom line, not the safety and peace of whom they are to SERVE. It is the responsibility of the consumer to hold them accountable to their Corruption. When good people do NOTHING, evil triumphs. Piranha and wolves have one thing in common, they go after easy single targets. When people fail to unite and fight they will be subdued by the evil of the night.

I will admit I was skeptical that a meter could make people sick. After all, people like to sue for free money and will jump on bandwagons easily. Ive had my smart meter for three months now, early september i got a rash out of the blue itched like hell no other symptoms so bathed in anti itch cream and ut eventually faded two weeks after docs assumed some allergy rash..then mid september i feel like my heart beat bottoms out and flutters scared hell out of me thought heart attack never had any issues im only 34! So ambulance takes my blood sugar its 53…never had blood sugar iasues not diabetic etc..by time i get to hospital its 93 with just an iv? Usually water would lower not raise…weird but didnt put it together. Heart checked have pvcs now out of the blue never before have i had em and pressure headaches. Not migraines but back of head pressure feeling…getting rid of this damned thing will post if these mystery symptoms go away after as wont know officially til its gone. If it does ill happily share documentation to two er trips for a class action!!!

Let’s think about this with some basic common sense and reasoning skills. In my mind, and experience when following the trail of big money, it leads most often to some form of evil. We know things we can’t sense with natural abilities can pose great harms and danger! Such as gases, and radiation. There’s a good reason why artificial smells are infused into natural gas which we can’t smell otherwise, and why medical staff must go into a safe room to activate radio active body scans. Right? So why would it be outlandish to believe something emitting invisible waves we can’t escape and are constantly exposed to can eventually harm our health, and the environment? We blindly accept installations of devices we trust won’t harm us because the assumption is that the powerful forces are all knowing and have protected us. That’s a big fat mistake whenever money, or power is involved! Instead of smart meters, we need smart people!

When living close to a smart meter I started getting very strange symptoms that I had never had before, extreme hypoglycemia and almost blacking out upon standing, it was very scary and has not happened since I moved away. I am 100% convinced it was the smart meter. I don’t care if ignorant people say articles like this are not sensible, I know in my mind and my heart the truth of the matter, smart meters are dangerous

Maybe he is against the increasing amount of technology in our lives, because over time as we add bigger and bigger TV’s, cell phones, computers, Microwaves, Meters, tablets, hand held gaming equipment, etc…our RF exposure keeps increasing. No, perhaps the Meter isn’t the biggest risk on its own, however maybe all the other risk factors combined are what is actually increasing our risk. I am not against technology whatsoever, but at some point we have to ask ourselves: What is too much exposure? What is going to actually increase our risk? Are we in fact doing damage to ourselves by exposing ourselves to so much of this RF in it’s various product forms?

@ Magnet -There has been an ongoing conversation about brain tumors that develop in the area where cell phones are held against the ear. We are also told to not stand in front of the microwave when it’s on. Why? With the media under the control of big business and big government, do you really believe we would be informed about something like this? Somehow I doubt it.

Did you happen to notice he is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and a physician who has worked in the area of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and public health for over 18 years? Hardly a luddite.

There is no meter reader with a smart meter. It’s all e-transmitted.
