Sally Fallon Morell Debates Bill Marler on NPR!

by Sarah Pope / Affiliate Links ✔

Remember that misinformed video by attorney Bill Marler I posted last week with the post The New Phase of the War Against Raw Milk?

Well, Mr. Marler will be debating the President of the Weston A. Price Foundation, Sally Fallon Morell today on NPR.

npr debate on raw milkHere are the details for listening live or listening later if you miss it at 12:06 pm EDT:

Today on NPR Sally Fallon Morell will be debating Bill Marler on the safety of raw milk.

The Raw Milk Wars
Wednesday July 27 at 12:06

Kojo explores what is safe and what is legal when it comes to our consumption of milk.

Recent raids by the FDA have some communities up in arms about whether raw milk is safe to consume. But supporters of unpasteurized milk are rallying a movement that would make it easier to obtain. Kojo explores where food safety, the law and milk collide.

Guests
Sally Fallon Morell, President, Weston A. Price Foundation, author ” Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats”

Bill Marler, Attorney, Marler Clark (Seattle, Wash.)

The interview is on the Kojo show on NPR but is broadcast on a local Washington, DC station. You can listen locally on the radio at 88.5 FM or anywhere online at:

Your blog post got my mind running and so I listened to Sally Fallon’s discussion with Bill Marler and published an article on raw milk with links to the Weston A. Price Foundation and the audio. I am doing some freelance writing and I want to write more on eating right – your blog here is a great help!

Here’s the article that was published yesterday:

There must be a time delay for when I receive your e-newsletters because they always seem to be a day late coming to me. There are always comments from the previous day before I ever even see the articles. I wonder why that is?

Anyhow, I am a member at WAPF and received an email about the radio program, so I heard it yesterday. I didn’t really hear much of anything new, however. Same old, same old. It seems that with these arguments about raw milk, one side will always have their view and the other will have theirs. That’s how it is with many things in this world, I guess.

I will always support raw milk, small producers and WAPF because I grew up with all the things they support. That includes common sense. ;->

Let me know when they post the transcripts from the interview. I would love to read it since I missed hearing it.
