root canal healing

One of the most popular articles on this site is how I healed my child’s cavity using the protocol recommended by Dr. Weston A. Price DDS, a dentist who penned the incredible book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration back in the 1930s.

Granted, the cavity I healed was an early cavity .. it was a hole in one of my child’s top front incisors and it filled in within weeks to be as smooth as the teeth next to it.

But what about a tooth with a really bad cavity?   What if the cavity has actually eaten into the pulp of the tooth and your dentist recommends a root canal?

Guess what?  You can save these teeth too.

The protocol for healing teeth even in such a state of complete degeneration is described in the book Cure Tooth Decay by Rami Nagel. This article on saving damaged teeth without a root canal provides a compelling testimonial of this approach.

I had the privilege of talking to Rami personally at the Wise Traditions Conference last year.

I have no doubt that our conversation helped to enable me to heal my child’s cavity some months later and write about it hopefully helping thousands of people in the process do the exact same thing.

Watch this video featuring Rami Nagel which describes the diet required to avoid and heal teeth at risk for a root canal. Even teeth that are in need of an immediate root canal can be helped.

If you have teeth in such a severe state of decay and think there is no hope, think again. Proper, traditionally based nutrition can work wonders even in these types of situations where the teeth need root canals. Make sure you listen through the whole video to be sure you understand Rami’s description of all aspects of the diet required to heal root canal teeth. It’s much more involved than taking a couple of supplements. There is no quick fix.

In addition, the diet required to heal the root canal teeth needs to be continued so that the problem does not re-emerge in the future.

Its such as you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I feel that you can do with some percent to pressure the message home a little bit, however other than that, that is fantastic blog. An excellent read. I will definitely be back.

I had a tooth abscess one night and the pain was a 20 on a scale of 1-10! I took about 50mg
of garlic and in 10-15 minutes the pain was about a 1. I also put cayenne pepper in the cavity with a q-tip. I continued the garlic daily as I wanted the bacteria to stay dead in my mouth. Since the pain was gone the next morning and I was busy on a project I soon forgot about the cavity that I could put 2 q-tips in at the same time. About half the tooth was gone.
I brushed with baking soda daily and oil pulled till I ran out of oil. Anyway, about 5 months later I remembered the cavity in the tooth and so I checked it out with mirror to see if it was
a bigger cavity. I was a little worried thinking of the cost to see a dentist. To my surprise
when I looked at the tooth it was completely healed! There is no discoloration and the
tooth looks perfect and does not trouble me at all. I still take 3mg of garlic each day
to kill any bacteria in my mouth and continue to brush my teeth with baking soda after
    eating.
I always heard elderly people having their teeth until the day they died because of using
baking soda to brush their teeth. Later I found that toothpaste coats your teeth with a substance that takes about a month to get rid of using baking soda. This substance does
not allow the minerals from food or supplements to heal cavities.

Bill, what supplements did you use to rebuild your tooth, and in what amounts? And did you add any special foods to your diet? You brushed with baking soda & did oil pulling, but what else did you do that accounts for the amazing rebuilding of your tooth? Please specify…thanks!

I suppose this same ‘mentality’ says no antibiotics for the abcess also? … which, untreated can ‘kill’ an organ or two, and maybe you…obviously, none of you have suffered with an abcess … the reality and pain of it….I would never allow my child to suffer with this pain…rediculous pie in the sky stuff here…..my 2c

Actually I had an abscess, scared me half to death, it was in my nose and eye tooth. I tried healing it naturally, never felt pain like that, and I have smashed both my nose and elbow. Anyways I went to emerge he gave me antibiotics. The next day I put a apple cider vinegar on paper towel and put it on the gum, and the infection started coming out in an abcess on the gum, I lanced it three times in three days, three months later it is fine. I also rinsed with baking soda, 5 time a day, and did oil pulling.

Homeopathy can also prevent root canals. I have done that for many a client.

Anna Witherington, when ordering a side of beef, you can have them ground right into the ground beef. You wouldn’t know it was there.
