9-Tray Excalibur Food Dehydrator: $249 Giveaway!

by Sarah TheHealthyHomeEconomist

A little over two years ago, I ran the very first giveaway for this blog.  Boy was it a clunker.

Believe it or not, I actually gave away a jar of sauerkraut that I made myself in my own kitchen and mailed it to the winner!

What a mess that was!  Lesson learned.  Mailing items made in my own kitchen is not a very practical or professional way to conduct a giveaway!

Fast forward 2 years later and I now have an awesome and longtime blog sponsor, Cultures for Health, that is much more equipped to efficiently and professionally handle all the logistics of getting live cultures and other supplies shipped to folks who need them!

Cultures for Health is your one stop shop for anything related to culturing food.  Even cheesemaking and sprouting supplies are available along with plenty of books and free e-books for your perusal.

The best service offered by Cultures for Health, in my opinion, is the live online chat that is available for any questions you may have once you receive your quality culture or supplies in the mail and have any issues putting it all into practice in your kitchen.

You just can’t beat that level of commitment to service.  You are never left hanging after you make your purchase.  Cultures for Health follows through and helps you make it happen in your kitchen if you have any speedbumps along the way!

The 9-Tray 3900 Excalibur Dehydrator

I am thrilled that Julie at Cultures for Health has generously given the thumbs up for me to give away the large, 9-tray model of the Excalibur Dehydrator to one lucky reader!  This $249 value also includes free shipping right to your door!

If you don’t have a dehydrator already, you need one.  Dehydrators are very handy kitchen tools for preserving the nutrient loaded rawness of all your various kitchen creations including crispy nuts, homemade jerky, sprouted grains and other seeds – even homemade fruit leathers!

You can use your oven for the same purpose, but the problem with that is that most don’t go down to a low enough temperature for dehydrating purposes, and let’s face it – we need ovens for cooking and dehydrating can be very inconvenient for a busy household with lots of cooking going on!

How to Enter the Excalibur Food Dehydrator $249 Giveaway

Good luck!

  9. 7. Last, but not least. I really need to WIN a dehydrator. Why? The other day my 2-year old bumped into our living room lamp and knocked it over. It basically broke in half. So the next day, I went out and bought a few lamps…from WalMart. When my husband came home, he told me I should keep them in their boxes because he didn’t know if he wanted to spend money on lamps right now. Therefore, I highly doubt a nice dehydrator is planned in this budget. So I went over and subscribed to your You Tube channel :) Thanks!

  10. 6. I love finding great recipes ,so I followed you on pinterest. Now if only I had a dehydrator to help me out…

  50. i “liked” you on FB and signed up for the two newsletters. i think that you are incredibly inspiring and right on. i have been incorporating many of the things you talk about in my household for a few years now but i learn something new from you every day. i especially love the way you stand your ground, even when given grief by those who express extreme reluctance to acknowledge the fact that we can heal ourselves in many situations, despite what almost everybody contends in this day in age….our body is an amazing machine and just needs to be treated correctly. we don’t have all the answers but there are a lot out there…..just need to reprogram :) thank you for the enlightenment!

  51. Subscribed to your youtube channel! I’ve learned so much already. Looking forward to learning even more and passing it along to friends and family :)
