“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
The Lorax By Dr. Seuss
The Lorax by Dr. Seuss came out in print in 1971 when I was in second grade.  This book had a lasting impression on me as a child and was one of the very first books I chose for my own children as they were learning to read.
I was thrilled when the Lorax was finally released as a movie last month. I was one of the first in line with my daughter to see the 3D version and even though I am usually disappointed when a book I love is made into a movie, this time, I was delighted and in no way let down with the visual interpretation of this great children’s tale.
The Lorax 3D is nothing short of sensational and my daughter and I were so in love with the movie that we dragged the rest of the family to see it again this afternoon. Even seeing it the second time, I found myself tearing up at the end.
If you have any spare time this holiday weekend, take your children to see The Lorax 3D.  It is worth the few extra dollars to see the 3D version by the way. The colors and scenery of the film are so vibrant that the 3 dimensional effects are just astounding and make the experience that much more memorable.
Below is the clip of our favorite song from the movie.  Have any of you seen the film yet? Were you as thrilled as we were?
