    Hi Sarah
I recently stumbled on your website when I was trying to find alternatives to formula for my son, who is in remission fro infantile spasms. He was breastfed but i suPplemented with formula starting at 2 months and
Wa s pretty much dried up by 7 months(3 kids under 4).We never got
To the ketogenic diet in his treatment (prednisone worked) but he was not progressing as quickly as I would have liked. A couple days off formula and consciously adding healthy fats to
His solid food and he is already a different baby! I am
In shock that formulas are sold in Canada,
    Never mind available
In hospitals. I wonder are there any initiatives to petition for change to the regulations around formula?

Hi Sarah – Your article on wisdom tooth extractions was the very first article I have found that provided research in support of avoiding extractions. I have been searching the internet for years on this topic. Have you ever written an article addressing healthy alternatives to Human Growth Hormone for children who are below the growth curve – yet on their own curve? There is a lot of information on the danger of HGT- but I have found little on alternatives. The most I have been able to find is 1) Need for deeper stage of sleep 2) Water – effects on bone growth 3) Low appetite in these children appears to be genetically driven 4) Boosting calories seems to only affect weight and not height 5) Exercise

I have not investigated this topic. One boy I know that apparently needed HGH was found to actually have Crohn’s … he wasn’t absorbing nutrients! With his Crohn’s under control, he will likely grow now without he need for HGH. So, I would encourage you to investigate other possible reasons for the lack of growth. Undiagnosed digestive ailments is a good place to start.

      Hi Rachel,
Wisdom tooth extractions is an interesting subject, I had only found out after the fact and have been suffering from their loss, they have to be extracted in pairs, but before going this route, I recommend that you get this book, ‘Holistic Dental Care’, by Nadine Artemis , Foreword by Victor Zeines, DDS.
This book is a source of much useful information , I think that I would have lost all my teeth as a result of dental error, injecting in through my jaw bone , some sort of bacterial culture/ , which have caused me unknown pains plus neuralgia and throbbing on my right chick , going through my right side of the nostril and near the right eye and into the right side of the brain , the pain overshoots and its ⚡️⚡️ten-fold electrified that causes me near neath like experience.

Sarah does your book cover damaged cholesterol from heating fats. I’ve read powdered goat’s milk has damaged cholesterol. But that would mean pasteurized cheese, butter, cooked eggs & canned fish. But I’m mainly angry about the powdered goat milk & that I can’t find raw goat milk. I’d pay $200 for a phone consultation!! no one else will know.

I do cover this in my book. If you can’t find raw goat milk, I would suggest raw camel milk instead. Tastes basically the same and you can get it shipped to your door (see my shopping list for particulars). Sorry, but I don’t do phone consults.

I just bought all three of your books to give as a gift for a new mother and wife. She is in her 20’s and just starting out. Her and her husband already try to eat organic and buy the best foods for their new baby girl. I just thought you are the best source of knowledge to me for all these healthy choices so she will reap the benefits too. thank you for all your research you share with us all. P.S. I am looking into the mattress you recommend .

Thank you! Please do ask your friend to do a short review of each book on Amazon if she can. I would greatly appreciate it and it gives me feedback for future books!

    Hi Sarah,

I am a long time reader of yours. I love it! Keep it up!
The reason I am writing is to ask what book would you recommend to a newbie trying to solve
gut and health issues? There is so much information to wade through. I have been reading for
years about traditional eating and escaping GMOs, bad fats, sugar etc. But my friend could really
use something concise to get started.

    Thanks so much,
    Holly

Get Your Fats Straight is the place to start … unless the fats are right in your diet, other improvements won’t produce much in the way of lasting results 🙂
