Shhhh, Don't Tell!
How do pharmaceutical giants like Merck respond to increasing resistance by parents to vaccinate their children due to dangerous vaccine ingredients, an ever growing immunization schedule, skyrocketing cases of autoimmune disease, and questionable efficacy?
The Pharmacrats react by quietly and stealthily pushing a bill through the California State Legislature that would strip informed consent from parents and allow secret vaccination of children as young as 12 with vaccines such as Gardasil and Hepatitis B as well as all future vaccines for sexually transmitted diseases.
Such a bill would cost California millions to implement with the majority of these funds lining the pockets of the Pharmacrat corporations.
What’s more, if passed, Assembly Bill 499 will require that parents still be legally and financially responsible for their child even if severe damage from the secret shots occurs which the parents never consented to in the first place.
How is it possible that this bill was passed by both houses of the California State Legislature and has landed on the Governor’s desk? How can any society calling itself free allow children to be taken secretly from the parents and subjected to medical risk without informed parental consent?
Assembly Bill 499 is on the desk of Jerry Brown TODAY and public pressure must be brought to bear immediately for Governor Brown to veto this frightening bill from becoming law. No matter how you personally feel about vaccination, allowing children to be secretly vaccinated without parental consent is clearly a violation of the moral dignity of a free society.

I wrote to him giving Governor Perry as an example of what will happen. He has had to make an apology for all of the hundreds of girls, and few boys, that were permanently harmed from this vaccination!

Yes but what about those who don’t homeschool? That’s the majority of the world these days. And there are also a lot of parents out there who apparently think nothing of letting their doctor take their child into a room by themselves (I’m thinking of that horrible case of the pediatrician who was molesting children in the basement of his office because the parents let him take them in there by himself)
THIS is one of the biggest reason why we homeschool and I thank God that we moved to KY. I am praying that this doesn’t happen here.
I think a lot of this crap is tying in with the UN’s Right of the Child law.

I watched the video on your website and they are targeting kids 12 yrs. old and up. Mine are 5 and 3! It’s been over a year since they’ve had a vaccine (and I wised up!) They skipped their yearly well visits this Summer. I am hoping we can go the entire “cold and flu” season without having to go to the Dr. I always get nasty comments when I turn down the flu vaccine-which they have never had!

I read the bill and it gives kids (not a teacher, principal or school nurse) the opportunity to consent to a vaccine that may save their lives. Kids do lie to parents. Often times kids (yes, as young as 12) are sexually active without letting parents know. I would hope that if this is the case, that child has access to quality healthcare, education about safe sex, and disease prevention.
Vaccines have increased our lifespan and kept millions from getting horrible diseases. NOT vaccinating children is factually linked to the rise of incidence of measles and whooping cough.
No one is going to force your child to get these vaccines. Do not be so ignorant as to deny others the opportunity to get a shot that may save his/her life.
Sarah isn’t advocating denying others the right to be vaccinated, she is advocating choice. I personally think that a choice which is that potentially health damaging should not be in the hands of a child, this is why the drinking and smoking age is higher, as is the age of sexual consent. Obviously, kids will often start these things way younger than is legal, but why make one extremely damaging and unhealthy decision the child’s to make, while outlawing others? Thanks Eliza. I’ve actually read quite a lot on both side of this debate. I understand that I wont win any friends on a site where most are committed to a certain perspective. That same commitment can also lead to a lack of critical thinking and that I abhor on all sides of any argument.
So by telling kids that something is illegal means they won’t do it? You mentioned drinking and smoking, but it seems to me that teens are the one’s doing these things anyway, regardless of whether or not it’s condoned not only by parents but the law. You may feel that a 14 year old is not old enough to make her own decision to vaccinate against a vd, but regardless of what you think, she will make the decision to have sex whether you believe she is old enough or not.

GC, your idea of research seems to be studies funded by the very institutions that stand to profit over the conclusions of the research. Now that’s shoddy research, my friend. Actually, it’s not research at all. It’s massive fraud perpetrated for the purpose of massive profit taking from a gullible and hapless public.
GC, I understand your position. I think largely everyone is concerned that a state is taking a parent’s rights from their hands. That’s the biggest issue here. And as for Gardasil, it’s never been fully tested. My sister, and RN who vacs her children, even refused Gardasil for that reason as well as the fact that the link between HPV and cervical cancer (which she suffered from herself) is threadbare. And you’re protecting against something that less than 1% of the population gets.
And I know that there are some on the anti-vaccine bandwagon who skew facts the SAME as those on the other side. But when the companies who make the most money from giving you vaccines write or fund the very articles that support vaccinations then I know with certainty that it’s skewed information whereas on the other side, I just have to dig a little more to verify that it is either true or slightly exaggerated.
Do you know why we don’t vaccinate our children? Firstly because of all the extras they throw in like aluminum and formaldehyde (go and read the pamphlet for the flu shot, it’s right there in black & white) But also because from my research I’ve found that almost all of the vaccines they have now are for treatable diseases. Chicken pox? Come on! I almost caved on getting my children the polio and tetanus vacs until I did some more research. Tetanus is completely preventable with proper wound care and getting the vaccine won’t prevent you from getting lock-jaw if you don’t take care of the wound properly. As for polio, again, I almost got this one for the kids. Until I found out what happened to Haiti. Then I decided it wasn’t the risk to my children. If they ever bring a small pox vaccine into wider circulation I may consider that one, but again, I’ll research what’s in it first. Don’t buy what everyone’s feeding. You have to dig deep, and I mean DEEP, to find the truth. Good luck!

I appreciate what you are saying. I have looked pretty deep into the question of vaccines, particularly when I had to make those decisions for my own children. I spoke to many, many people on all sides of the debate and read a great deal from homeopathic books to the CDC website. I still felt that the greater safety for my children was to protect them against diseases that would destroy them versus what may cause harm. I also felt that it was my responsibility to the community to protect the “herd immunity”. It was my choice and I understand that no one here will agree with it, but I had the opportunity to make an informed decision.

In my view the State and the public would assume that responsibility and liability on the front end! Have you ever read an “Informed Consent” document? If not, you should! Once the state, ( in this case, without judicial review), takes custody of your child, it has in-essence terminated your parental rights without due process and, in my view, must assume “financial and legal liability for the outcome!”
GC, I am confused by your approach… you say “You can make choices for you and your family” in this post, and yet in other posts you are advocating that choice being left to a child under the age of 12? I understand of course that children will drink, smoke and have sex younger than they are legally permitted (which I actually said clearly in my last post), but that doesn’t mean that it should become acceptable behaviour – it is dangerous to them and common sense dictates that they are too young to make informed choices about such things as could impact the rest of their lives. I think the approach should be the same with vaccination. If you want to vaccinate your children, please go ahead, however allowing a child under 12 to be coerced by a school nurse to get something injected into their system that they don’t properly understand is a breach of parental (and child) rights. I respect 100% your right to do what you feel is best for your child, and you have obviously given it a lot of thought. However, that right should not just belong to those who hold the same views on vaccination as yourself.
Maybe you should educate yourself a bit. Vaccines have not increased our lifespan, our lifespan has increased in spite of them. The rise of measles and whooping cough were as a direct result of the vaccines that were given to the children that have those diseases as a strain of the disease was in the vaccine and that’s the very strain they were infected with.
Do YOUR homework before you blindly accept the garbage that mainstream media tries to shove down our throats.

Does not knowing you have a blog on this subject mean that I haven’t done research on the issue? Blogs, per se, are just someone’s musings posted on the web. I had one myself about creating an organic micro farm in my front yard and raising chickens on the side. Does that mean that I am an authority on homesteading? Not even close.
I stumbled on your site since a friend posted a link to this article on facebook and I was concerned by the wild conclusions people were jumping to about secret assemblies in public schools to vaccinate children.

i think the problem here is that some children should not receive vaccines (for medical reasons or whatever) and cannot make an informed decision about receiving a vaccine by themselves. (i have a cousin who decided to get an mmr vaccine for nursing school without knowing that she had a horrible adverse reaction to it when she was a child…she got very sick AGAIN after getting the mmr as a nursing student.) also, some children may be coerced into getting a vaccine by a “well-meaning” school nurse or whoever would be administering them, without knowing how to stand up and say no or even know why they should say no. AND, you say that kids lie and some are sexually active at the young age of 12 and should get this vaccine. well, guess what? people who are sexually active and who have probably already been exposed to hpv should not get the hpv vaccine because it can INCREASE the chances of getting cervical cancer rather than lowering it. and yes, kids lie about that stuff all the time. do you think a kid would tell whoever was giving the vaccine that they are sexually active? i doubt it. leave medical decisions up to parents and their chosen physicians and keep this stuff out of the schools. it isn’t like the schools haven’t screwed up by vaccinating the wrong kids before either…several kids in nyc wound up in the hospital after getting flu vaccines that they were not supposed to get. it’s a school, not a hospital. keep it that way.

She was in my sight, but the doctor argued with me about the vaccines, and I let them give her Hep B and they decided to throw that one in there too. I hadn’t done all my research before the visit…now I question EVERYTHING and have had the doctors get furious with me for “overstepping my bounds”, but whatever!

This is another reason to homeschool. There are no “secret assemblies” here. Well, unless you count the toddlers playing with shaving soap in the bathroom while I make lunch. When you give your kids to the state for that many hours a day, who knows what you are going to get. If my daughters can’t have their ears pierced at the mall without my consent, why should they be given vaccinations?
A friend was stopped by a Spanish speaking woman at church recently. She wanted to know what was in the “vitamins” she had been given at a physical at the local public hospital. It turned out that they were birth control pills. For a twelve year old! My friend, who is finishing her MS in nursing told her exactly what they were and the risks for thrombosis and death.
The Spanish-speaking woman you mentioned may have misunderstood what kind of medication she was being given. I wouldn’t presume anything without knowing all the facts. And your friend giving her only the bad and probably not going to happen about the birth control pills is ridiculous. I hope that she also told her that they can reduce your risk of certain types of cancer and osteoporosis, and when women do choose to go off the pill, studies have shown that their health during pregnancy is improved.

This isn’t about vaccinations – this is about WHO OWNS YOUR KIDS. In Arkansas, when Clinton was gov. in the 80′s, he got a statute passed that states that all juveniles 18 and under in the state are WARDS of the state. With the way it is worded, even if a child is just visiting here, they come under this. Check your states – bet you have it, too, as Clinton went to the Governor’s sheebang and bragged on what he did and encouraged the other gov’s to go home and do the same thing. A family we knew was battling over their son not having vacc’s to go to school and they were the ones who finally found out what they were really fighting – they told me personally about it. And that’s what they said – they were fighting the state over who owned their son. This was in the 80′s.

I had noticed our local high school with big signs saying: No Shots No Schools. When my last child entered middle school they were insisting on Hep B shots. The only way around that shot was to use religious reasons which I did. They didn’t make it easy though. This trend is worrisome.

I emailed the senator as well. Watching that video brought tears to my eyes. It is incredibly scary to see things like the possibility of vaccines without consent happening before my very eyes. I spent 8 years working with thousands of kids who had been permanently damaged by vaccines. There is nothing more heart breaking than hearing the parents’ stories about their injured child. Meanwhile, my child’s school continues to send letters home reminding us that children cannot attend school without being fully vaccinated. FALSE! They don’t even suggest the option for an exception form (which we have), and they don’t want me to tell other parents about it. I’d love to send out an email blast to all parents about this, but I don’t want them to get angry with me and kick my child out of school. I’m between a rock and a hard place.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
This is the actual text of the bill – this allows for children over 12 to be treated for sexually transmitted diseases without consent from their parents.
SECTION 1. Section 6926 of the Family Code is amended to read:
6926. (a) A minor who is 12 years of age or older and who may have come into contact with an infectious, contagious, or communicable disease may consent to medical care related to the diagnosis or treatment of the disease, if the disease or condition is one that is required by law or regulation adopted pursuant to law to be reported to the local health officer, or is a related sexually transmitted disease, as may be determined by the State Public Health Officer.
(b) A minor who is 12 years of age or older may consent to medical care related to the prevention of a sexually transmitted disease.
(c) The minor’s parents or guardian are not liable for payment for medical care provided pursuant to this section.
Do we really have nothing better to do as a people and a country, than to come up with Bills like this???
When I step back from looking at the fine points to all of these arguments and other issues, I can’t believe the bigger picture… there are so many OTHER more important things to do, provide, teach our children, etc.. Making “Mom” and “Dad” out to be the bad guys when it comes to decisions that impact our children, and to trust what any “authority” tells you… those are the BIG PICTURE things that scare me as a parent of a 1 and 3 year old…. what does “America” stand for anymore? I can go to plenty of other countries/places on this planet and live like this. Aren’t we as Americans suppose to be different, and not just a bunch of lost sheep?

Unfortunately, my 16 yr old son WAS vaccinated with Gardasil in June 2011 without my permission or knowledge, BEFORE this law went into effect!! I was sitting in the waiting room the whole time and the doctor never came out to tell me my son was getting this vaccination., I am dead against it! My rights and my son’s rights have been violated!! I have complained to higher authority at Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation and still waiting for results. There should be a class action suit against the doctor and MERCK for vaccinating without parental consent BEFORE this law was enacted in CA!! I AM SO ANGRY!!
That is horrible Giovanna. It seems we have to sit in the same room with the doctor anymore with our children. I feel for your situation. I too would be so angry if I were in your situation.
I am frankly unsure of vaccines, and have yet to allow my son to receive any shots (he is nearing 2 now).
However, I would like to relate an experience I had several years ago when I had my first pap smear at 18. I actually asked my family doctor about the possibility of getting the Gardasil vaccine and he hemmed and hawed and finally told me that he didn’t feel it was tested enough to give to me. I was surprised, but once I came home and looked up the details on the vaccine I understood and was grateful that he put my well being first.
That doctor is a KEEPER!

Ok, I am putting this out to gather some info on what to do if force vaccinated. One of my coworkers was really pushed into taking the combo flu vaccine and has felt bad ever since! I am also informed that the hospital that I have worked at for 28 years is making the flu vaccine mandantory next year. I can’t believe this oppression in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA! Hi, I know is too much to ask but I visited other groups requesting something like you and what they do is create a link where you just sign a petition and it’s automatically sent to the Governor. It takes a minute to do it and is a lot more effective that calling him(something that I’ve already did). Making things easier for your supporters only get us closer to our goal: Make the Governor reject this bill. Still I’m curious to know how a bill as the 499 can reach the Governor desk without all the organizations that defend liberty start a campaign to stop it, this must have started months ago. Here’s how it happens: While the rest of us have to work hard to get legislation passed, from gathering signatures, to getting people to vote at the appointed time, Assembly men with monied interests are able to cut to the front of the line and get immediate approval for laws they create.
Remember the San Francisco law that would limit circumcision to medically necessary procedures or adults 18 and above? Well activists worked hard to get those signatures and make everything happen. Politicians looking to gather constituency votes took advantage of the situation to stop the measure in its tracks.
But not only that, they were able to slam a measure through the Judicial Committee, the State Senate, the Assembly and straight through to Governor Brown without any resistance. And mean NO RESISTANCE. 5-0 in the Judicial Committee, 37-0 in the Senate and right on through to Gov. Brown who signed it.
For those of you who don’t know, the Assemblyman who did this, Mike Gatto, is a benefactor to the ADL, not to mention he has direct connections with his former employer, Brad Sherman, which, guess what, is trying to slam a similar law like this at the House.
Now, I know what y’all are thinking; “Yeah but circumcision is different.”
MAYBE.
But whatever your views of circumcision think about this; intactivists had to work hard to gather 12,265 signatures San Francisco’s Department of Elections to even have the chance for their measure to be voted on by the people, but Mike Gatto is able to get a law before the full state senate with the approval of just five people?
The San Francisco circumcision ban would have to first make it to the ballot, and the people would have had to vote in favor of it, in order to pass. And even then, there would be time before the law would go into effect. But Gatto’s law, if approved, goes into effect immediately?
And then, get this; Gatto, a long with a few others, are trying to get rid of the initiative process, the process that allows us, the people, to decide for ourselves, which would leave the law-making up to only people like him, and others who passed this Merck bill.

Look, whatever you might think of circumcision, for it, against it, WHATEVER, the way it’s going in our law system, this should scare ALL of us.
The decision to ban people from challenging circumcision was taken by just a few people.
Were any of you handed information regarding this bill? How many of you knew exactly what it was about? What it does? Whose rights it really protects etc.?

How many of you knew that such a bill was even headed to Gov. Brown?
Exactly. We didn’t even get a say. This should seriously scare Americans that this is happening. What other drugs are they going to make it legal to offer our kids behind our backs?
How come a kid can get to decide at 13 whether he wants a dangerous HIV vaccine, but he can’t decide whether or not he undergoes a permanent cosmetic alteration on his private parts? How come parents can circumcise their kids up until they’re 18, but they have to wait until then to use a tanning bed? This is crazy double-think.
We the people need to do something to stop the gov’t from passing laws behind our backs.
Get that Gatto guy out of office, demand that our initiative process remains untouched, and demand that more be done to stop self-serving politicians from slamming measures through the Senate.

This is an issue that parents have to alert their kids about NOW so they know before hand. They need to explain to them that there are really mean people out there in the government and in big vaccine companies who are only trying to make money from them by giving them a vaccine. These shots may make them sick or even kill them. They also should tell them that the body takes care of this disease on its own by eradicating it.
Wouldn’t you have wanted your mother to have said this to you when you were a 9-12 year old? I certainly wish my mother had been aware.
