One Minute Chocolate Mousse (three ingredients)

Instructions

  1. Pour cream into a medium glass bowl.

  2. Add cocoa or cacao powder and date syrup.

  3. Whip ingredients together with a handheld mixer for about one minute until thick with the mousse pulling away from the sides of the bowl.

  4. Taste, and if desired, add a few drops of stevia extract for additional sweetness, remixing again for a few seconds. My family likes it without added stevia, but some palates may prefer it.

  5. Serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers in a glass bowl with a secure fitting lid.

Recipe Notes

Some sources say that chilling the glass bowl before preparation helps the cream whip better. I have not found this to be the case. The mousse whips up just fine in about one minute with a room-temperature glass bowl.
