Traditionally prepared stocks, broths and soups frequently consumed in the diet are non-negotiable if you are to maintain vibrant health long-term.
I cannot emphasize this point enough. You simply cannot do without the easily absorbed nutrition courtesy of gelatin which is in abundance in these foods.
And, if you’ve been on a healing protocol such as the GAPS diet and failed, the most likely reason is because not enough homemade stock and broth was included (you need a bit at every meal!).
While you can buy properly made stocks and broths and now even soups commercially, they are very expensive (if they’re not, then they are fake).
Hence the need for most people to dedicate a bit of time to learn how to make them at home. The stock, broth and soup recipes in this section will hopefully facilitate that process for you.
