Sarah,

Thanks so much for hosting this link-up and for this great site dedicated to real food. I’ve only recently discovered your site and plan to spend many hours reviewing the posts; I’m always excited to learn new ways to think about healthy eating.

I posted about my process for freezing basil, and there’s a link in that post that talks about how I have such an abundance of basil to work with (grown in an Earth Box system) in case anyone is interested.

I’ll have to check out Wendy (the Local Cook)’s post in the link-up because her comment says regular basil can be used in her submission.

A lot of folks keep asking for more canning recipes using honey, so I made another blog!

My recipe is based on a popular Middle Eastern dish called “Mohammarah.” It spices up roasted red peppers with cumin, molasses, pomegranate juice and lemon juice for a very distinctive taste. Enjoy!

Sorry – mine posted twice with two different titles. :) Won’t happen again. Anyhoo, I went on a tyraid about our government after the whole raid on Rawsome Foods. I don’t often do that but I had a few things to get off my chest. Feels good!

Have you believed labels that you saw in the grocery store? When something claims to be 100% natural, do you believe it? I wrote a post detailing the unnatural and chemical processes lots of our “natural” and “healthy” foods go through before being sold in the store, which makes me think twice about buying any packaged foods.

Ever since giving up on pastas, I find that I miss having macaroni and cheese, a LOT. So I came up with this recipe idea, using cauliflower and cheese to make a similar dish with a great texture and taste. Nobody will care that it is grain free!

Thanks for all the other great posts!
