Hi Sarah,
I linked up an interview I recently did with Jeanie Wolfson, about her new book, It’s Not Mental. She used a gluten and dairy free diet, thyroid balancing and integrative medicine to help her daughter recover from tics, ADHD, OCD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder. She’s got an interesting story to tell.

Thanks again for hosting, Sarah! I linked to my most recent post. It’s not a recipe this time, but a little timely inspiration for all of us kitchen gardeners out there! I live in the Northeast and it’s time to start seeds indoors if we haven’t already. I’ve been so busy with work and school that I haven’t had as much time as I would like to map out my garden. Looking back at last year’s harvests helped me spur along this year’s planning. I hope to inspire at least someone out there to plant something they intend to eat. For health, for the planet, and for FUN!

Hi Sarah! Thanks for hosting. I’m just loving these homemade protein bars. So easy to make and so much better than the store bought ones. They beg the cook to get creative and change the flavors. So much fun.

I missed last week’s link-up, so I added more than one link this week – a bunch of new real food recipes I’ve tried, info on a GF standards event upcoming in Washington and on the great marketing ideas conventional food companies use to market useless, killer junk imitation-food products. Can’t wait to check out the other links already here!

The funny thing about cooking real food mostly from scratch is that you actually have to cook…. from scratch. When I’m busy or just don’t feel like it I often make this recipe for Lazy Girl Meat Loaf.
