Hi Sarah,
I’m linking up a post from one of my network bloggers today. It’s about bowel movements, something that most are embarrassed to talk about but so important. I also made a new facial oil yesterday and blogged about it. Have a great week and thanks for hosting!

I’ve linked up to grain-free recipes for macaroons and blueberry banana muffins. I’ve also linked up to a post on how home birth facilitates breastfeeding (and some reasons why birthing in a hospital may make breastfeeding more difficult). Thanks!

I have ten children and often have to convince others with fewer kids that real food, slow food, and healthy eating can happen. Even those with the best intentions can fail to actualize their goals. Grandpa said, “Fail to plan? Plan to fail!” Here’s a plan to start eating better. Thanks for the opportunity to share it! Oh, and I have added The Heathy Home Economist You Tube channel to web page. So from my tiny planet in cyber space I am helping to spread the word!

Sunday our local Ventura County chapter of WAPF and the Santa Barbara chapter brought Organic Pasture’s Mark McAfee down to give us both a wonderful power point presentation on Raw Milk and the Immune System. In addition to confirming things we already knew, he informed us of many things that are kept from the public due to laws and regulations about raw milk. Some of these facts cannot legally even go on Organic Pasture’s website and that is why he is taking it “On the road.” He is a delight and then gave out free quarts of the freshest raw milk, 10 days fresher than what was on our shelves at our local natural foods store, which says much for belong to a co-op, and bags of Truly Raw Almonds. To use a term he used about others, “Mark rocked!”

Okay, I know this was posted a few months ago, but I have a question about Tomatillos – should they be cooked or can they be eaten raw? Like do they have any antinutrients or harmful acids, like spinach and other veggies do. I got a whack from my CSA and want to be sure to use them properly :)

Thanks for any info!
