Thank you for hosting Sarah. I wanted to share this great recipe that my husband and I had very recently. It just goes to show that comfort food does not have to be unhealthy, covered in cream sauce, contain loads of cheese and be served on a bed of pasta or a side of mashed potatoes. This stew feels decadent without being fatty or fussy and isn’t time consuming. Happy Healthy Eating!

Sweet Potatoes are nutritional powerhouses. Spice them up with a little ginger in this delicious soup recipe. Finish it by stirring in some miso paste and you’ve got yourself a bowl of Asian-inspired sweet potato bliss. It’s the latest recipe post on fromseedtostomach.com. http://www.fromseedtostomach.com/2011/02/sweet-potato-and-spinach-soup.html

Thanks so much for hosting this, Sarah! Always Appreciated!

I am posting our favorite breakfast here. Pizza eggs: high in protein, low carb, grain, gluten and sugar free with a dairy free option. It takes only a couple of minutes to make.

Last night I made crab-cakes without egg for my hubby, who is sensitive, as well as gluten-free for the rest of us. I never dreamed they would not only turn out well, but be the best ones we have ever made. My 10 yr old gobbled up her helping and went back for seconds and thirds! This one is a keeper!

I am so loving the recipes out of the GAPS cookbook, “Internal Bliss”. Here’s one that took me totally by surprise. I was more than slightly skeptical about using sunflower seeds. Don’t know why, because it is an “absolutely amazing” cake….as I said! Hope you all enjoy.
Thanks again, Sarah, The Amazing Healthy Home Economist!

Hi Sarah- Happy Monday!
I am sharing my recipe for Lemon Curd Thumbprint Cookies. I hadn’t made lemon curd in years and I forgot how easy it was! My recipe is gluten free, but it can be made with “regular” flour if you don’t have issues with gluten.
