I’m telling! I’m gonna tell teacher.

In the calcannon recipe, it says the following, and I quote “Butter (such as Parkay)”.

Oh boy, oh boy. Someone’s in trouble.

This is awesome, I’m so glad I just found out about this! Seeing as this is my first time posting here, I got a little confused. Post #16 is actually a recipe for Gingerbread Cookies.

First time hooking up to Monday Mania! I had some thoughts on a nutritionist, Marion Nestle. Her book got a thumbs up on the Weston A. Price website, but she has since backed a very scary bill and wondered how most everyone feels about her now? Thanks for reading. Just thrilled to be a part of such and enlightened growing family of heallthy foodies!

Hey Sarah!

I submitted my post, titled “Gonna Eat My Placenta!” It will be the first in a series, chronicling my nutritional and spiritual adventure in eating my placenta.

Enjoy!

Hi Sarah,

I’ve shared a kitchen tip I just starting doing. Save the chicken fat leftover from roast chickens. You can use it to cook other foods with, saving on the grocery bill and getting all the health benefits of the lovely chicken fat.

Cheers,

Emma

For all Canadians, please take a second to contact your representatives and ask them to listen to what Shawn Buckley has to say about the C-36 bill for food safety (yeah this is the same as the S510).

This is my first time sharing. Necessity is the mother of all inventions, right? Made WAY to much sourdough this morning so Carob Cherry Sourdough Breakfast Bread is what resulted. It is more like a coffee cake, but the word “coffee cake” makes one think it should go with coffee which is a no-no that we are trying to wean someone off of in this house hold. Thanks for hosting, Megan.

Thank you, Sarah, for hosting! I look forward to reading some great posts! I shared my recipe for sourdough dinner rolls. I didn’t think a sourdough recipe could produce the same texture as the yeast rolls of my former (garbage-food) days, but they were wonderful! ~Karen

Thanks for allowing me to post my recipe for Gluten Free Pumpkin Cake! This cake is made mostly in your blender then you just add beaten egg whites and bake- so easy! It can be made either gluten free or “normal”.
Enjoy!

While looking for a recipe I noticed entry number 44 uses tofu in a lot of their recipes and didn’t link to the post for bbq tofu sandwiches, but their blog. Is tofu considered real food?

Hi, thanks for hosting.

I am sharing a recipe that is sugar-free, gluten-free, and dairy free. My son loved these cupcakes and he was happy to be able to enjoy a cupcake as we celebrated a family member’s b-day. Allergies can be no fun, especially when you have to watch everyone else eat dessert.

I just added a link called “Kermit and I: Kindred Spirits” that talks about how it is not easy being “green” and being the “healthy mom”…. especially when traveling and your kids see that the rest of the world gets to have apple juice, candy, muffins galore etc! I think this group will understand how it is hard sometimes to be the “different” ones but that we need to support each other in this important work of trying to get our country to eat better food!
