Giveaway Winner: 9-Tray Excalibur Dehydrator!

by Sarah, The Healthy Home Economist on October 8, 2012

Believe it or not, we set a new record with the recent giveaway for a 9-tray Excalibur Dehydrator over the past 10 days.   It even surpassed the excitement over the WonderMill Electric Grain Mill the previous month.  Just shy of 2600 formal entries and well over 3000 comments were generated for the Excalibur contest which was generously sponsored by Cultures for Health.

I actually had a little trouble figuring out the winner.  The first winner that got picked ended up not being on the Cultures for Health newsletter list of those that actually signed up for the giveaway correctly, so I had to pick another winner.

And this newest winner is ….

Mark B. of Cleveland Ohio!

Congratulations Mark!   I think you just might be the first guy who has won a giveaway on The Healthy Home Economist blog!  This is awesome – I am very happy about all the new guy readers of late!   This is so important as we gals need healthy guys to hang out with who know their way around the kitchen – those of you reading this blog definitely have a good start in this area!

Mark, if you could please email me your mailing address right away at thehealthyhomeeconomist@gmail.com, I will get your beautiful new black Excalibur on its way to you shortly.

For those of you who did not win, you have a coupon to use on the Cultures for Health website!  The coupon is for 20% off any Yogurt Starter, valid through October 14, 2012.

Just click the link below and it will take you to the Cultures for Health website so the coupon code can be activated:

Another big giveaway is in the works and those of you who enjoy baking will be particularly excited I feel certain.  I am still working out the details, so will be announcing that in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned!

Mark’s a lucky dude. That’s probably the best looking dehydrator I’ve ever seen.

I absolutely love banana chips and dehydrated cranberries.

Interesting how a guy ends up winning a product called “Excalibur”. Very masculine appliance with the beautiful black detailing and all. Congratulations Mark :)

He wasn’t the first guy Sarah… I won the training class a few years ago. :)
I think you need to institute some affirmative action and get an equal amount of men winning as women…. lol

I used multiple emails, for subscriptions, everyday email and such. So the first person might have signed up correctly, just used a different email address. I know I did and I didn’t realize this was a problem.

For crying out loud, Stupid Lady, don’t you know the entire box construction of the Excalibur is made of BPA? What a dupe!
