kelly, wow! Do you mind sharing a little more? I know more than one person who is wondering if there’s any way to save a “root canal ready” tooth, and hearing from someone who’s really done it would be so encouraging!

I’m not sure how Kelly did it, but figured I would share what I did for my tooth this past year. =) Perhaps it will work for one of the people you know with a bum tooth. Last November (2011) before I cut out all sugar and before I had transitioned completely to a real food diet, I had the whole side of my face swell up almost overnight. It was on a tooth I had pain with during my pregnancy which subsequently broke and was filled after I had my daughter. Unfortunately it was right before Thanksgiving and my old dentist wasn’t in the office. To make a long story short, my husband’s mom who is a nurse gave me an antibiotic prescription (which I wouldn’t take now that I know how to reduce the swelling naturally) and the swelling went down a fair amount. It never went away completely though from the week of antibiotics.

In late December I cut out all sugar except for 1 1/2 teaspoons of honey a day in my raw cacao/raw milk drink. The swelling went down more when I did that. However, about a month later I had orchestra rehearsals and a concert which required me to travel, and I ate more sugar during that time. My swelling started getting bad again. When I got back home I read in detail Ramiel Nagel’s “Cure Tooth Decay: Heal and Prevent Cavities with Nutrition” book and started following the recommendations. The longer I followed the protocol, the more the swelling went down. However, anytime I allowed life to stress me out, the swelling would come back some (never too much, but a bit).

My tooth is great now and has not had swelling for a while. The only time it gets sensitive is when I have too much honey and/or fruit or if I am letting things stress me out. It’s kind of a nice incentive to eat as healthy as possible and be chill about things. =) Oh, I should also mention that many days I would do oil pulling with coconut oil, so that might have contributed to the healing process. It’s hard to know for sure. I hope that helps!

I already get radiant life newsletter. I just love all the products I have purchased over the years. I have tried SO many coconut oils and none compare to theirs. YUM
Also take the fermented cod liver oil, grainfields probiotics, Vitamin D3, & camu camu powder.
I can not say enough about how easy it is to order and they have always shipped quick.
My next thing I would love to order is the earthing pad, and a few books.
The products they offer are far better then anyone else`s, plus they have all the info
on each and every product. I do not buy if I don`t know what ingredients are added.

Thanks for doing this great giveaway but I am disappointed that Radient Life is out of stock of the 2 products you promote the most on your blog. And it is my understanding that the cod liver oil and butter oil are on back order until 6/30/13?. And I have been trying to order those products for over a month. Do you have another resource? How have you been getting the products? I am in desperate need since my 6 year old son was just diagnosed with a cavity. Thank you for your amazing blog it has changed my families’ life.
