Thank you to all who participated in the $50 Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund Giveaway over the past week. In total, 90 valid entries were submitted and the giveaway post was Facebooked and Tweeted many times giving very important exposure to many people who would not otherwise be aware of The Fund’s important mission.
I think it is very safe to say that there are many more small farms in operation today than there would be without the legal protection afforded by The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund! The Fund is a very critical and necessary part of the growth of the sustainable, small farm movement. Thank you again for your support of this organization!

It’s a great idea to encourage family-scale farmers to join this organization! You can talk it up at farmers’ markets, etc.
